Kara was born and raised in New Jersey, where she completed her Undergraduate Degree in Nursing at Seton Hall University and then proceeded to complete her Master’s Degree at the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey in 2013. She is currently board certified as an Acute Care Nurse Practitioner.

For the past twenty years, she has provided patient and family-centric care, while directing clinical operations in Critical Care, Emergency Medicine, and Aeromedical realms. Her love of continuing education in critical care medicine continues to be fulfilled at Massachusetts General Hospital, where she is privileged to be on the Cardiovascular Surgery team, in conjunction with Harvard Medicine.

Her passion for regenerative medicine stems from her own multi-system trauma and skin cancer journeys. It is her philosophy, that the industry has the profound ability to impact healthcare.
